Seeing a GP Just Got Easier — and Still Free* at Our Medical

From 1 November 2025, the Federal Government will introduce changes to the Medicare bulk billing incentive — and that’s great news for patients.

At Our Medical, we’ve always been committed to accessible healthcare for all Australians. Our centres remain 100% Medicare bulk billing for all GP consults, meaning if you have a Medicare card, you can see a GP for free.

What the changes mean for you

The Albanese Government’s new bulk billing incentive is designed to make it easier for patients to see a GP when they need to, without any out-of-pocket costs. While you may not notice immediate changes, over time the goal is for more GPs across Australia to offer bulk billed or free consults to more patients.

At Our Medical, this incentive helps us continue doing what we do best — providing bulk billed GP consults every day, from 7am to 10pm. Whether it’s before work, after hours, or on the weekend, you can always access a doctor when you need one.
